When the Portuguese men
First penetrated
The virgin lands of Brasil
I was such a Green Hell
Home of nudist barbarians
Witches, beasts and all kinds
of poisonous insects.
Since then, they´ve been trying hard
To get the Land totally clean!
But it hasn´t quite worked...
That´s why, until now
Brasil has been
Such un urban forestry carnival!
In Rio the Forest rules
And Nature submits Mankind...
